Alhamdulilah our Masjid Plan is approved. In-Sha-Allah we will start the new building construction work very soon.
The building will be three stories with a 4800 sft. cellar, and 3000 sft. for each first & second floor.
Providing the building with a total of 10,800 sft. All floors will be separated for men and women with facilities.
We are planning to build the mosque with modern & new technologies. So, we are urging you to please donate generously for the new masjid building.

About Our Masjid
Assalamu Alaikum, Respected Brothers and Sisters, On December 1st, 2010, the building located at 95-01 24 Avenue was purchased for the establishment of East Elmhurst Jam-e Masjid & Muslim Center. Since then, the Masjid has held five daily prayers along with various religious and community activities. In 2018, the loans on this building were fully paid. However, due to the inability to obtain a Certificate of Occupancy from the Department of Buildings, a new design for the Masjid was developed and approved. The existing structure is due for demolition to make way for the new construction project. To ensure continuity of daily prayers and community services, the neighboring property at 95-09 24th Avenue was purchased in February 2025 through Islamic Bank financing. Necessary repairs and improvements were completed to accommodate the Masjid’s activities, and since November 2025, the East Elmhurst Muslim community has been utilizing this building for daily prayers and religious activities. The construction project for the 95-01, 24 AVE property is now urgently needed.
The total cost of the approved project is $4 Million Dollars. This Masjid is our place of prayer, our children’s religious foundation, and our connection to Allah. We urgently need your support to bring this vision to life. Please give sincerely and generously, for this noble cause. Our mission is, “To provide multifaceted services to the Muslim community of East Elmhurst and beyond that will fulfill their religious, social, cultural, educational, and recreatinal needs through building and maintaining appropriate facilities.”
The East Elmhurst Jame-e Masjid and Muslim Center is open for the 5 daily prayers including the Friday Jumu’ah (congregational) prayers and Tarawi Prayer . The Jumu’ah prayers are led by well-renowned Sheiks of diverse ethnicities and schools of thought aiming to maintain unity amidst diversity. The Masjid also consists of a separate floor dedicated for the sisters to engage in prayers and various other activities.
